Description: In this two-hour workshop, we’ll learn how to use our sublimation equipment to create a customized mug with full-color decoration! We’ll start by discussing sublimation printing and transfer - how it works, what it’s good for, and what the limitations are - before walking through the safety and operation of our sublimation printer and mug press. We’ll then use a template to design, print, and transfer personalized decorations to 11oz mugs that participants take home. See below for some examples we and past attendees made!
After this workshop, attendees should be able to create decorated or personalized mugs using our sublimation equipment. With a different template and design, the same techniques can be extended to other drinkware: larger mugs, tumblers, shot glasses, and more.

What ages is this class suitable for?
What ages is this class suitable for?
This class is suitable for participants ages 16+. Younger participants are welcome with an accompanying adult but will not be allowed to use the mug press.
Do I need to sign a liability waiver?
Do I need to sign a liability waiver?
All visitors coming to Open Workshops for the first time must sign a liability waiver prior to entering the shop. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
