Description: In this two-hour workshop, we’ll learn how to use our sublimation equipment to create a customized t-shirt with full-color decoration! We’ll start by discussing sublimation printing and transfer - how it works, what it’s good for, and what the limitations are - before walking through the safety and operation of our sublimation printer and heat press. We’ll then use a template to design, print, and transfer personalized decorations to t-shirts that participants take home. See below for some examples we made!
After this workshop, attendees should be able to create decorated or personalized t-shirts using our sublimation equipment. With a different template and design, the same techniques can be extended to other garments and flat objects: hoodies, mouse pads, flags, magnets, and more!

What ages is this class suitable for?
What ages is this class suitable for?
This class is suitable for participants ages 16+. Younger participants are welcome with an accompanying adult but will not be allowed to use the heat press.
Do I need to sign a liability waiver?

All visitors coming to Open Workshops for the first time must sign a liability waiver prior to entering the shop. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
